On Monday, April 8, 2024, North America will witness the longest total eclipse on land in over a decade. During a total eclipse, viewers will be able to see the sun’s corona, its outermost atmosphere, as it appears as a white delicate light. It is a rare sight and only visible during totality. It is important to remember that totality only lasts a few seconds to several minutes depending on your location.
